Dr. Nik graduated with honors from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1998. Upon graduation, he received multiple prestigious awards, including honors from the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the Quintessence Award for Periodontics. He is also a published author.
Committed to lifelong learning and providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Nik earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2007. In 2026, he achieved one of the profession's highest distinctions by earning the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) designation. This prestigious credential is awarded to dentists who complete more than 1,100 hours of continuing education, including over 400 hours of hands-on clinical training, and successfully pass a rigorous comprehensive examination. Only about 2% of general dentists in the United States and Canada have earned the MAGD designation, reflecting Dr. Nik's unwavering dedication to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry and delivering exceptional care to every patient.
In addition to maintaining his private practice, Dr. Nik completed a two-year postgraduate program in Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. He also completed a two-year postgraduate orthodontics and orthopedic training program through the United States Dental Institute, expanding his expertise in comprehensive orthodontic care, including Invisalign® treatment.
Dr. Nik has been repeatedly recognized as a Top Dentist by his peers, an honor that reflects the trust and respect he has earned within the dental profession. He maintains active memberships in numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), Academy for Sports Dentistry (ASD), and the United States Dental Institute (USDI).
Dr. Nik enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He provides comprehensive dental care, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics (traditional braces and Invisalign®), root canal therapy, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and preventive care. His philosophy is simple: treat every patient like family while providing the most advanced, evidence-based care available.
Outside the office, Dr. Nik enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters. He also loves skiing, hiking, water sports, traveling, reading, and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities that Northern Virginia has to offer.
Dr. Changi is a Board Certified Periodontist who completed his specialty training in Periodontics at the Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine, In the City of New York. He is currently the President of Alumni Association.
Dr. Changi has the expertise to diagnose and manage all types of periodontal and implant related diseases and conditions. He treats patients in both non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment modalities. He also has extensive experience in all facets of oral implantology, including immediate and delayed implant placement, digital treatment planning, guided bone regeneration, implant temporization and management of all implant related diseases. His extensive training enables him to treat patients comprehensively using a multi-disciplinary approach. Dr. Changi has been recognized for many awards. To name just a few, 1st place at the Tannenbaum/Schoor memorial competition at the Northeastern Society of Periodontics and the Scholarly Presentation Award at the NorthEast Implant Symposium for 'Cytocone Technique'.
When Dr. Changi is not treating patients, he enjoys skiing and playing golf. He and his fiance enjoy traveling. He loves pop art; his favorite artists are Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, among others. He also enjoys exploring wineries and wine tastings.
Dr. Emelee obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Sharjah, and completed a two year advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she focused on more complex dental procedures in general dentistry. She was awarded the Harry W.F. Dressel Jr award for clinical excellence in general dentistry. Dr Emelee is focused on providing dentistry for the whole family. She enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to their concerns and changing their lives through dental care. She understands that visiting the dental office can be an overwhelming experience for some patients, so she strives to make her patients feel comfortable and cared for.
On her down time, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters and husband. Dr. Emelee is also bilingual in English & Arabic.
